Position Details
Job Purpose
We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer (with 5+ years of software development experience) for the development of iOS
applications targeting mobile phones and ipad devices. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications and integration with Restful back-end APIs/services running on AWS. You’ll join our existing team of front-end developers, and other full-stack developers working on building our next set of products. We expect the person to be a collaborative problem solver, team player and committed to building quality products.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Design, build and extend features for our native iOS app
- Ensure performance and quality of our app
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define and design features
- Integrate with backend tools such as cloud, APIs and push notifications
- Maintain and extend our code quality, organization and automation
- Provide thoughtful prototypes and proofs of concepts
Technical Requirements
- Strong expertise in Swift and iOS SDKs.
- Deep understanding of UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
- Strong knowledge of modern architecture patterns, including MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Solid understanding of multithreading, memory management, and the iOS application lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with XCTest and XCUITest.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, URLSession, and networking best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and App Store deployment and release processes.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
